1a. To focus your thoughts for activity 1, you may need to write some notes about key facts you know (or think you know). Maybe the 10 most important things you know about ANZAC Day. You might like to rank them in order of importance for added impact.
2. Write, record up to 10 questions you would like to know about ANZAC day, NZ's military past or our recent Peace Keeping operations.
3. Gather information from ANZAC websites. (You might like to use copy and paste instead of printing). There's some websites under resources below.
4. Sort your information into relevance. If it's not related to your questions then discard. (You might like to save your document as version 2 once you start sifting and sorting your information).
5. Write or record the most interesting things you found out, but more importantly your thoughts and feelings related to the information.
An example might be...."I discovered that ............ This makes me feel sad that.......... or This makes me feel grateful......."
